And speaking of…I lived in lower Manhattan back in 1999 when they were finishing construction on the Millenium Hilton. It used to drive me crazy that they spelled “millennium” wrong. I always wondered if I was missing something. Anyone?
I am ammazed at the numbar of e maiils, bloggs and webb sites which have spelling mishtakes. It’s veery lazy of us to leave it to the spell-shecking tecknology. I, personaly, hate the use of texting acronims such as LOL and when I here someone say “uni” when they mean ‘university’, my anouance metier goes orf the scale!
