today’s color: blue

I was testing a plate the other day and needed a quick light blue.  I inked up the press with equal parts Process Blue and Reflex Blue for this nice shade, did the trick.

pistachio ink

I delivered a wedding invitation job yesterday, and the last color was this beautiful pistachio green.  I hope it’s not too boring when I post shots of mixing inks – I just think its so pretty sometimes.

I was mixing ink today for a pink Save-the-Date.  96% Opaque White + 3% Rubine Red + 1% Yellow = Yummy.
