This year I’m going to be doing the Brooklyn Flea Gifted Market, from Friday November 27th to Sunday December 20th.  It’s going to be epic, and very fun, so I hope you can come check out all the great vendors.

I’m also participating in the Martha Stewart Craft Sale December 4th & 5th.  I’m so excited about this, but also feeling some major pressure to make my table look up to par.  Can’t wait!

Finally, Cassidy and I collaborated on a Brooklyn Bridge calendar this year.  I know I was sharing last month about my cloud calendar…but I’m afraid I ran out of time!  I’m not usually in the habit of flaking out on projects, but this holiday season was a bit cramped for time.  I’ll give it a try for 2011…

Today I’m finishing the first of three 2010 holiday cards, designed by Cassidy Iwersen (formerly O’Rourke).  Cassidy drew three NYC themes, one dog park, one movie theater and the Brooklyn Bridge.  I’m such a huge fan of hers, it was a thrill to collaborate!

I’m going to post these in my Etsy shop (soon) and will be selling cards along with lots of other items at the Brooklyn Flea Gifted market, starting November 26th.  So excited for the holidays to kick into gear.  I’ll post the remaining cards in the next few days.

I was testing some colors yesterday for my holiday prints.  Looks like I’ve got Thanksgiving on my mind.  :)

These awesome calendars were illustrated by the amazing Julia Pott for an international Etsy promo.  Last week the Etsy marketing team shipped out to Europe to explore opportunities in a brand new marketplace.  They brought with them three different versions of this 2010 calendar, one in German, one in French and one in English.  I was so happy to print them, Julia’s artwork is perfect in letterpress.

DC-based lettering artist Jennifer Nicholson illustrated this holiday invitation with some gorgeous garland and poinsetias.  Jennifer is a world-class calligrapher who does private work when her schedule allows, if you’d like her information just let me know.

This month I have the honor of participating in a group show in Portland, Maine at chelliswilson.  It was my dream assignment…Maria of Port2Port Press curated, and the theme is the coming of winter.  I’m a such a huge fan of hers, it was a thrill for me to be included.  It is called Come Darkness.

I chose to do two prints of birds of flying south.  This is my favorite color scheme, moody but beautiful grays and browns.  You can see the entire Come Darkness show here.  I wish I could see it in person, but thanks so much to Maria for inviting me!

This wedding is planned for the opening day of the cherry blossoms festival in Washington DC, which I think might be the most perfect setting imaginable.  I’m wondering…how can I get myself invited?
