I’ve been off the radar all week, working on a very large business card job for one of my favorite companies, Etsy. The cards were designed in-house over at Etsy, and I love the knit pattern they created. With so many lines and details, it’s the perfect graphic for letterpress. I’ll be finished these in the next day or two, and will then be moving onto to a very special Fourth of July project. : )

I delivered this summer invitation earlier in the week for a couple getting married up at Bard College. I went to a wedding up there a few years ago, such a gorgeous area of upstate New York.  The weather couldn’t be more beautiful in Brooklyn today, my window plants are basking in the glory… : )

It often takes a lot of time and set-up to get the registration and color right before starting in on a press run. Sometime I forget how pretty the set-up scraps are, until someone comes to the studio and starts pulling them out of the recycle bin. I decided to post some under a new category, ‘pretty mistakes’. Hope you like them!

What an exciting week. Breck and I finally launched our joint-venture calling card project, Brooklyn Social Cards. The site has been up for a few weeks but we wanted to make sure the bugs were worked out before inviting people to stop by. From now on I’ll be handling all new business card orders through Brooklyn Social. Its a very easy way to order cards, and there is a great variety of styles in the collection – I hope you’ll check it out!
