This winter the Brooklyn Flea has moved indoors here in Dumbo, right across the street from my studio as luck would have it. I popped over this weekend, while little Gayle was taking one of many naps, and couldn’t resist two purchases. The first is the most beautiful little scrapbook tin by Waisze Designs.  They are reclaimed little tins (cough drop tins I think?) and inside is a matching accordian card for photos and messages.  I simply love it.  I also bought this awesome staghorn fern from Groundworks, a Brooklyn-based garden design firm that is selling plants and flowers at the Flea (for c-h-e-a-p, I couldn’t believe their prices!).  Be sure to stop by the Flea one weekend, it’s a great excursion!
