I’m really excited to be working on a big holiday project with my friend Cassidy Iwersen. Cassidy and I collaborated last year on some Brooklyn holiday cards, and this year we’re expanding it to a series of prints and a cool Brooklyn calendar. We’re hoping to have stuff available a little early this year (maybe late October) but I’ll post an update as soon as I have one…

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who stopped by this past weekend for the Dumbo Arts Festival. I ended up printing a small run of these cards to celebrate the coming of Autumn. It was great seeing all the faces, new and familiar.
I think I may put some of these packs in my new online shop. And (oh!) my new website is finally up and running. I did a redesign a few months ago, but in the meantime had it converted to a simpler structure. (If anyone need an awesome website guy let me know and I’ll pass along Anthony’s info.) Hope you like it. Happy Autumn!
Monday night I was driving home and discovered an abandoned kitty on the road. My heart broke when I saw the rough shape she was in, a bad respiratory infection and covered in mud. It took me some time to decide whether or not to take her home because I was worried how Gayle would react to her. In the end I did, and after a visit to the vet on Tuesday morning I made the introduction…things seem to be going alright between them. :)
She doesn’t have a name yet, suggestions?
Exciting news…next weekend Breck and I will be participating in the 2010 Dumbo Arts Festival. On Saturday and Sunday we’ll be having a sample sale of various letterpress goods, and Breck will be offering letterpress demonstrations on her Vandercook and C&P Pilot presses. I will also have wedding invitation samples out in case you’re planning a wedding and had any questions about letterpress invitations. Our open studio schedule will be 12noon-5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Our studio is located right smack in the middle of the festival at 55 Washington Street, Suite 608 in Dumbo, Brooklyn. I hope you’ll come by and say hello!
I printed these letterpress wedding invitations last week for a December 11th ceremony. Going with 1-color ink is a great way to bring costs down while still impressing your guests. No pun intended. :) This wonderfully nice couple went with an elegant gray.
I must be in denial that Labor Day has come and gone because I’m woefully behind on posting lately. I printed these sweet “E” announcements a few weeks ago for baby Elijah and his folks. I think he’s off to a very good start in life… :)
