This is the time of year when every evening my living room looks like a post office nightmare…boxes, envelopes and labels everywhere.  I work all day in my studio, and at night I pack up my Etsy orders from that day and prepare them for drop-off the next morning at the post office.  Its chaos, but also fun and exciting.

Yesterday I hit an incredible milestone in my Etsy shop.  I reached my 1,000th sale.  As I was watching the number go from 990 to 995 to 999, I thought about how much I love this community.  Its such an incredible thing to be part of, and I’m excited to watch it grow in the future.  Thank you to everyone who has supported my shop, and thank you (a thousand times) to Etsy!

Whew!  This weekend I was on letterpress steroids.  I’m just finishing up two very long days of printing and packing orders, and I’m all geared up for the upcoming holiday season.

This whole year I’ve been saving my extra paper when I trim wedding invitations, with the plan of using it for gift tags in December. So I’m very happy to announce that Etsy every order between now and Christmas will ship with a free pack of 10 letterpress gift tags.  Just my way of saying thank you to all my awesome customers. :)

I am thankful for pies.  :)

On Friday I shipped off these new cards to Angela Liguori of Studio Carta, who will add them to the other three styles of our card collaboration.  This newest look is very cheerful and bold, with red and fuschia ink colors.

Here are some shots of the previous styles, and a link to where you can find them.  Hope you love them as much as I do!

custom family holiday cards

Now that the storm has passed and life is returning back to normal, I’m turning my focus to the holiday printing season! I’m excited to announce that this year I’m expanding my holiday card collaboration with Cassidy Iwersen to include customized versions. Last year we had a card that featured a man and woman carrying their tree home with their dog, and we were surprised and delighted to receive a lot of requests for customization. So this year we’re making it happen.

With the customized version of this style, you can choose your own family members and optional dog(s) to make your card fit your unique family. And, of course, adding an inside message and return address are also options. You can find more info about styles and pricing here:
