A nice splash of color for this August wedding invitation, I think the poppy and gray ink colors balance each other out really nicely. I delivered these invitations before the holiday weekend, and it already seems like months ago. Must be because we’re suddenly in the dogs days of summer. :)

I had a delightfully uneventful holiday weekend, now I’m feeling thoroughly rested and ready to get back to work. I’ll be back with a new post tomorrow, hope you had a great summer kick-off!

For a small town like Durham PA, there sure is a lot of printmaking happening here. Sunday I capped off a busy weekend by visiting the Durham Press Open House – what a great day. Durham Press is an amazing fine art press right here my own small town.
This past year I’ve had the great privilege of working there periodically when artists are in residence, and I’m hoping to be there again this summer when the amazing Polly Apfelbaum is back.

As summer is just kicking off I’m beginning to print September wedding invitations. Before I know it I’ll be sipping lemonade on a sizzling July afternoon thinking about the holidays. :)

I printed this cool promo job last week for Etsy. This was designed in-house at Etsy by Nicole Licht, I love the design and ink color. It makes me want to jump on a yacht.
So not happening, but a girl can dream.
